Sheryl Hymowitz practices what she preaches. Being a health
careprofessional who promotes good health habits, she wanted to set a
positiveexample for her patients. She also says that her life has changed
sincelosing the weight and has become more out-going, crediting an increase
inher overall self-esteem.
"I was overweight all my life. As I got older, I just kept on putting
onextra weight and was getting disgusted. My daily diet consisted of
burgers,fries, pizza, chips, cake, etc. I would never eat healthy and lived a
verysedentary lifestyle," remarks Sheryl.
"I was completely astonished when I learned of Jared's success.
Seeing howyou could completely change your life in a positive way was such
amotivator. At first it was hard to believe that Jared could lose 245 poundsby
eating two subs a day and walking, but it can definitely happen, becauseit
happened to me as well. He was definitely an inspiration," adds Sheryl.
When asked what words of advice she would give to someone seeking to
loseweight, Sheryl responded, "Losing weight is always a possibility. Even
theslightest change in a person's diet can make a difference and a small
walkcan contribute to taking off extra pounds too. I never considered myself
ona diet, instead, I made a life- style change."
