Building Stronger Communities
We’re committed to supporting our communities, being responsible partners, and giving back.
Our People
The Subway® culture embodies the entrepreneurial spirit of our founders and the thousands of successful franchisees that have helped to grow and shape the Subway® brand over the years.
Our aim is to support all franchisees in running healthy businesses that provide good lives for their families and stable employment for their teams. Our restaurant franchise model empowers individuals to own their own business, creates job opportunities and stimulates economic development in local communities.
We understand the importance of continuous training and improvement in all that we do. All Subway® franchisees and Sandwich Artists™ receive on-going training that includes a combination of virtual, hands-on, and in-restaurant experiences as well as access to the web-based and mobile-friendly Subway University.
We require all employees to adhere to ethical principles and employment standards to ensure that everyone is treated with fairness and respect. Subway® is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination of any kind.
We are committed to conducting business with integrity and our Speak Up program is an important part of our culture of ethics and compliance. Team members can report questionable behavior or a possible compliance violation, while maintaining confidentiality. Subway® will not retaliate against any individual who has, in good faith, reported questionable behavior or a possible violation of law. There are various ways to submit a report:
